The TalkBass iphone/android app is NOT WORKING currently. We're working on it. Tapatalk IS working, so if you need to use an app, use Tapatalk. Try using your browser though - TalkBass is now 100% responsive to your phone/tablet screen size ;)

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

I played a five today with natural finish today at Motor City Guitar in Waterford ,Mi and was reasonably impressed.

    pros:
great punchy sound, good construction, clear and quiet.
    70's jazz 5 for under a grand

    cons:
a little to slim at the nut and neck felt longer than a 34" scale bass

I wish they were at least 21 fretted instruments.
