Spector ID?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Wallygator, Apr 13, 2014.

  1. Hi there,

Wondering if anyone can ID this bass from the image. I was told it's a Legend classic, but whenever I research that model I only ever see black hardware.

Looks like it's been modified. It has Euro control knobs. Soapbar pickups like the Classic, but a standard bridge.

  6. Nah, those routes are stock. Look at the way the finish rolls over the edges of the route. This line of basses is also brand new. Barely a few months on the market, if they've even become available in stores. My guess is there were some made with EMGSSD soapbars. Maybe a first run before deciding to change to P/Js?

The other option is maybe it's some sort of last run Performers?

  7. We have a winner!

    :D

Some of the last Performers had the contoured body and a mildly flamed top. They weren't made for very long. They were called "Performer 4 Classic". The Black Cherry finish makes it hard to see the flame.
