I like unique basses, and this one is all of that, its the one in my avatar.

Only 14 basses were ever made like this one. It was made in Spector's Woodstock, NY workshop, and this is the only one I know of that has Aguilar 60s jazz pickups and pre-amp in it.

So why am I selling?, only to go after something really special that is not bass-related. If it doesn't sell right away, I have no problem keeping it. So no trades on this one, I need the funds.

Listed at $1850 shipped within North America, will not ship outside of North America. The listing price is FIRM. Trade offers will be ignored.

For detailed specs, see this link to Spector's site:
    http://spectorbass.com/SE/se1.html

A previous owner upgraded the pickups to Aguilar 60s single-coil pickups and put in the Aguilar OBP-2 preamp. I am a big Aguilar fan, and this combination sounds great in so many music genres/situations.

I will get accurate digital weight of the bass later, but previous owner said its about 9 lbs, and that's accurate within an oz or two.

Condition is excellent, the bass was built in 2010, and has been well taken care of by its owners. The matte finish is great at hiding things like fingerprints and small scratches. of which there are only a few tiny ones.

Bass is currently strung with GHS Precision flatwound strings.
Bass comes in buyers choice of a generic cordura hard/soft case similar to the Sadowsky standard case (though not a Sadowsky case) or a standard Roadrunner gig bag (pics below of each).

This one used to be mine, I only sold it because I got my hands on a vintage NS-2 :bassist:

Killer bass, incredibly unique, and a great price!

I have it's twin sister (#10 of 14) and let me say, this thing screams! Maybe the best bass I've ever owned or played and I'm not selling mine, ever. So that means there's only really 12 others out there besides this one and mine and I've never seen any of the others come up for sale. Great chance to buy a very limited quantity bass at a great price (a lot less than I paid for mine). Grab it, you won't be disappointed!

Now includes matching handmade strap from my buddy Gecko5.
If that doesn't seal the deal, I don't know what will.
