My backup pile of spare spirocores is getting pretty full, so here are a few I have available. All are red pegbox & red ball ends, so thay should be mediums or mittel, used but still in good shape. Most were on an old Kay so that gives you the approximate lengths. $20 per string:

    (3) "G", measure out at approx. .052" thick, ball is marked 0 / I

    (2) "D", one specs between .068 -.074" depending upon where you measure it and the other is approx. .064", ball is marked 0 / II

    (1) "A" approx. .081", ball is marked 0 /III

    (1) "E" Stark, approx. .119" thick and 54-55" total lenght (I had some tuning machine issues, so they broke at the box and may be short, depending upon your needs)

    (1) Extension "C", .131" thick, another shorty at 54.5" long, C /V on the ball.

Paypal only. Always consider trades for good condition gut D or G.

    Thanks for looking.

    James,

    Is the C for a 5th string (V) or E string extension?
    Thanks

    Louis

That's all I know - the thickness, length, and stamps on the ball. Red at both ends. I had a tuner issue a couple of years ago and broke a bunch of strings at the post before I got the problem resolved. Got facetime? If so, we can get a stream going and you can dork out on it for a couple of minutes if that helps.:)

    Hey James,

The length of my extended E is @ 60 inches from the tailpiece holes to the top of the extension (above the scroll). I think it must be a low C. Thanks (facetime always welcome anyway)|
