Here's a well reviewed (check out Ed Friedland, the bass whisperer and others) Fender Squier Classic Vibe model in beautiful lake placid blue. 50's Precision styling but updated with a high-mass 4 saddle bridge, comfortable contoured body etc. Gloss maple neck and board, vintage frets and USA Fender 7250 nickle roundwound strings. 1.625" nut width that feels great and this baby really resonates. Let me add that this model has a basswood body (well-known tone wood used on many Fenders) and the newer model (butterscotch color) has a "pine" body. This one is almost like new, without a scratch.

NOW FOR THE UPGRADES (all work/setup pro done )
New Seymour Duncan SCPB-3 Quarter Pounder for 50's P pickup
New USA CTS 250k mini pots
New Sprague orange cap .047 100v
    New USA Switchcraft jack
New generic hardshell case (optional $50 extra)

So if you've ever considered trying one of these, all the work
and upgrades has been done for you. All at a great price.
My LO$$ is your gain. $375 SHIPPED to cont USA.

have to mention, I stopped in Sam Ash, maybe a year ago, plugged this thing in, it sounded great, felt great, it was the nicest bass I played in the shop.
