This could potentially end up being the smallest club on TB, but what the heck. I love this bass.
Seen a few comments on starting a Squier MusicMaster Club but it does not appear anyone has actually done so.
Here is my Vista MusicMaster Bass... call it Surf Green, Sonic Blue or Seafoam (Seen it described as all 3 at times).

Post a pic of your own Surf Green, Shell Pink, White, or Black Squier MusicMaster and get a number.

BTW, outside of an advertisement, that is the first white Vista MusicMaster I have seen.

The finish on mine is far from perfect. I got it used at a pawn shop for $118. It looks like someone took a flat edge screwdriver to the front trying to relic it. But I love it. It's so fun play

What year did Squier make the Vista? Are they hard to find? How did you guys come by yours? New, used? I'd like to try and find one. Surf green with a matching headstock, I can't get enough of that. :bassist:

They came out in 97' and were made for only 1 year then pulled. They come up on the bay and here and there used but are not easy to find and are getting a bit pricey.

That's too bad, does the Bronco have a comparable tone? The pickup appears to be the same style, but i'm sure it's not a "Vista Tone".

No, the Bronco doesn't sound anywhere near as good. Honestly, the Bronco isn't as good as the Vista on any level.

I was thinking I could build a "Semi" Vista with a Bronco, a '51 Pickup and custom paint. I love the body style of the Vista and Bronco, something about that 60's surf look that attracts me, like my Jag.

I think the string spacing on the bronco is too small for the P-bass pickup. Why don't you just buy a Vista? There's two up on ebay right now.

I'm using the Flatwounds that came on mine when I picked it up last month. No idea what they are but they sound great!
