Rare bird ,although listed in the Status catalog ,this model has been under redesign and unavailable for years ,bass is in very nice shape ,a few scratches(see photo) ,plays beautifully ,one of the thinnest, flattest necks ive ever seen on any bass features piezo p/u and humbucker ,vol, balance and individual p/u tone control tone controls on this bass are very subtle ,warm organic sound as one would expect ,beautiful neck very flat on back ,very straight ,this is a wooden neck with graphite rods in it ,lined fretless , I just don't use it enough to keep ,comes with a SG Hiscox case ......Price drop $1500,mite consider trade for any odd fretted 5's of similar quality make an offer additional photos avail ................

Is this by chance a 34" scale? I know that "most" Status basses are a longer 34.7" scale.

I am not the original owner of the bass , I assume its from the 90's serial number is 0982345 with regards to the neck it measures exactly 34" from top to bottom
