FS only: Status S1 Classic Deluxe 5-string. Alder body, dropped/arched quilted maple top with blue burst finish, Graphite neck with blue tint finish, 34.7" scale, Bartolini pick ups with Bart NTMB 3-band pre-amp with 3-postition mid switch (the original status PUs and pre-amp are gone), 18mm spacing and chrome hardware. All original paperwork (including warranty card) included as well. Comes in it's original Hiscox HSC with case key still taped to the top of the compartment lid. The only issue is a plastic cap missing from one of the control knobs. 4 days prior to this listing I gave it a professional set up and fresh set of D'addario EXP XL strings. The strings now have a grand total of 1 hour of play on them. The bass weighs in right at 9 lbs (maybe an ounce or two less) on the bathroom scale. The neck is the trademark comfy Status shape.

Since I sold my 90's Status Stealth 5 this past spring I've been jonesing for another status. I bought this newer one on a whim, but the longer scale neck doesn't jive with my stubby sausage fingers. Besides that it's got killer tone, plays like a mother and looks great as well. There isn't any fretwear, and there are no scratches, bumps, or wear of any type that I can find. It's as clean as clean gets for a used bass.

$1800 shipped and insured in the lower 48. No trades, but I may knock off a few bucks if you have a BassMuff or Swollen Pickle II you'd part with.

Bump. My terrified Modulus won't come out of its case until this sells and goes away.

I'm guessing it's an '05 (basing that on the serial #) and I'm just north of Cincinnati.

Hey, is that an aftermarket bridge? It looks like it has holes for string-thru, and I've never seen a Status with that option. What screws hold it down?

Nope, it's the status bridge, it just has black set screws holding it on. It's the same bridge I have on my '96 Limited edition 5, and the same that was on my old stealth. 18mm spacing, top loading, and it has the two set screws on the Bass side to hold everything in place when set.
