Stewart World 1.2 power amp in 2U SKB rack and cables

Discussion in 'For Sale: Amps, Preamps, and Cabinets' started by bassbuddy, Mar 27, 2014.

  1. Downsizing, switching, changing, blah blah blah. For sale is my Stewart World 1.2 power amp, mounted in a two space SKB rack. The amp has a scratch or two on the top & bottom from coming in and out of the rack, but nothing serious, and nothing you can see once it's in there. The case is older and slightly worn, but definitely serviceable, many many miles left on it. I'll also throw in a heavy duty Planet Waves banana to speakon cable, and a pair of banana to 1/4' cables.

Looking for $285 shipped to CONUS. Not interested in trades.

  4. Tempting. Any issues with heat due to running this without an open space above the amp given that there is no fan?

  5. Aaron, the amp never once shut down on me. But I don't play super loud, and of an abundance of caution, if we were playing out in the open sun on hot days I would clip a little 3" fan to the back of the rack just to be sure. The fan would dissipate about 95% of the heat; the amp wasn't even warm at the end of the set. I never needed it under other circumstances.

And yes, I'll throw in the little fan too!

  6. Monday bump; open to cash offers.

  7. TTT, probably go on eBay this week if nobody's going to jump on it here. Great little amp folks!

  8. Sold, pending receipt of payment.
