It's probably been posted at some point, but I couldn't find it and wanted to share my favorite bass player joke...

Did you hear about the drummer who locked the keys in the car?

It took them 45 minutes to get the bass player out of the backseat.

I know a guy who sometimes plays guitar who loves this joke.
And while I am more of a guitar player, I am a bass player as well. And some people know me more as a bass player.
And some people don't know the difference.

That's correct, I love this joke but it is backwards...

By the way, what is the difference between a coffin and a keyboard?

Wait, this drummer actually had a car? :bag:

Most of the drummers I've played with had no transportation. A couple of them didn't even have their own kit. :rollno:

There's this guy hitch hiking along the road and he finds a couple of old discarded drum stick on the side of the road. So he picks them up and starts air jamming and twirling the sticks around. Then imediately and a car stops and the driver says "hey need a ride?"So the guy with the drum sticks says shure and gets In The car. After about 20 min the driver unzips his pants and says you want suck my $&@¥ ?!?! The kid says oh no your mistaken I'm not a drummer I just found these sticks:)

    LOL!

Back in the 80's, we auditioned a drummer. He set up his drums, and proceeded to play one drum beat pattern. It was the only pattern he played. He told us that this pattern is the only one that is needed because it would fit any song!

Wow! I had no idea music was that easy! All this time I have been playing different notes on my bass. I guess all I really need to do is just bang away on an open A string for all songs.

(why do the words "under-evolved neanderthal" suddenly come to mind?) :meh:
