I'm sure that somebody will be photoshopping mosh girl (or atoz) into it very soon.
It brings tears to my eyes to know that mankind is capable of capturing these photographs. I'm sure we could be much more advanced with space exploration if the budget was there but the achievements are still remarkable.
that's mind-blowing, it really is.
The first photo from mars actually worth looking at lol. Very cool!
Wooo! My new desktop background
Not to try and take anything away from this photo but why is the quality of this photo so much better than the other photos I have seen from the rover?
it's really Arizona.
Where did you see that the pic was taken by one of the rovers?
Unless some other country recently sent up there own rover, this is taken from the same old rover that's been roving around Mars pre NASA shut down.
I kind of think the Rockies are more impressive.
This is the rim of the Mojave crater. From wikipedia: "It is 58.5 km in diameter... Mojave Crater is approximately 2,604 meters (1.63 miles) deep."
That's a cool picture.
I'm tired and I could swear I see Walter pushing a barrel in the distance.
That would be a hell of a ride if it were covered with snow.
We could be exploring the universe if we (as a species) didn't spend almost all of our resources, energy and time over futile quests for control and power.
(yeah I know interstellar distances are vast, but at the very least we could be exploring our own solar system, jeez)
The picture surprised me
Me no piccie?
What Titus said... .
Where are the canals?
