Could someone give suggestions for some easy to medium songs to learn by ear?

That's a fairly broad request. There are thousands of songs, genres, tempos and we may have differing ideas of what is easy.

Are you trying to improve your ear? I would suggest looking at songs that you are already familiar with. Make sure to use a program like Audacity or Transcribe so you can really bring the bass line to the front. Work slowly and shoot for accuracy. You'll be surprised when you start transcribing songs you already "know".

There are a lot of bass transcriptions on the interwebs if you look hard enough. I've found that most transcriptions are pretty accurate. It can be very beneficial to use one as a road map. You may find something that you just didn't hear until it was brought to your attention - or you may find a mistake in their work.

Anything motown is great for internalizing different rhythms and melodic type basslines.
