Super Bowl Half Time Show...any info on the Jamareo sparkle gold P-Bass?

    Any info on the Jamareo sparkle gold P-Bass?
    was it vintage?
    re-issue?
    it looked cool!
    it sounded good from what i could hear on TV!

    Yes, it was cool.

    The fact that a P Bass was in the halftime show at the Super Bowl in 2014
    is indeed further confirmation the the Fender P
    is without a doubt a timeless and unequaled instrument.

    Watched it live and have not looked back but it looked to me like a regular Fender headstock. Gold, with (white?) block inlays. Regular headstock or maybe it was gold too?

    Seems to be custom made but I think it is a genuine Fender.

    Definitely a real fender,and definitely custom. that's not a shoreline gold.more like an goldtop les paul. it was probably made specifically for that show so that it would look good with the outfits

    are we going to ignore flea completely? lol

    This was posted on another thread about the half time show. Apparently it is a Custom Shop bass...very cool.

    It's not an Adam Clayton model according to my buddy at the Custom Shop. He's trying to get more info on it. The pic above is what he sent me of the actual bass. I'll try to get specs.

    "it sounded good" is not an argument.... nobody palyed live on that show ;-)
