Super Bowl Half time show

    Bruno Mars' bassist was just owning the crap out of his P bass, dude's got groove and a solid tone, then out of nowhere pops up RHCP and crapped all over the show. Bummer. The dude on guitar looked like he was having a seizure for most of their song. Flea laid it down funky and a bit thin sounding in comparison to Bruno's bassist, IMHO.

    Flea wasn't plugged into anything.....jack was empty.

    It didn't look like Bruno's bassist was playing at all

    Yeah, I do hope we all realize it's pre-recorded, so the choreography will be spot-on.

    Flea was jumping around so much that he was missing notes. Music comes before showmanship. Didn't work in my opinion. Loved Bruno's bassist, though.

    I watched him the entire show, looked like he was layin' it down to me. He at least had a wireless hooked up. No idea if they were just dancin' to a previously recorded track, but the bass was on point in the mix for sure.

    Bruno's drum solo was decent. Nothing ground breaking but it was solid.

    The only ones that were remotely playing were the drummers. Yes, at least The guy in Bruno's band was plugged into something.

    Bruno's stuff was GREAT!! Loved the drums, the footwork and his singing. THe kid drips talent.

    The other clowns that came in (Chili Peppers??) couldn't carry his jock. I was relieved when they stopped and Bruno came back to the front.

    I couldn't say it better. Class vs. no class.

    Man, and Will Ferrell destroyed on drums, when did he join the Chili Peppers?

    It was teenie bopper B/S. I would have much rather seen some Classic Rock band like the Scorpions. I guess they figure most of the viewers of the Superbowl are 15 year old girls??

    I'm not sure you understand what I wrote. you may want to re-read it.;) Or I can try to explain it better for you. :D I mean seriously. Almost every Bronco's fan I know probably couldn't tell you who Bruno Mars is. I thought the same thing about the Fergie 1/2 time show. How many football fans listen to Fergie. My entire point was that the 1/2 time entertainment did not seem to match the typical viewer. Sure it's just an opinion but could easily be supported by facts.

    You posted this in all the halftime threads (Ya I looked at'em cause the game stinks). But if you think this years show was worse than the Fergie show you are loony tunes, with all due respect to you.
