    There are 32 teams currently in the NFL and, to date, there have been 47 Super Bowls played.

    Of the 32 NFL teams, 4 have NEVER played in a Super Bowl:
    Detroit
    Cleveland
    Jacksonville
    Houston

    Of the 28 teams remaining teams, 10 have played in the Super Bowl, BUT have not won:
    Buffalo
    Minnesota
    Atlanta
    Seattle
    Carolina
    San Diego
    Tennessee
    Philadelphia
    Cincinnati
    Arizona

    Of the 18 remaining teams, 6 have won once:
    New York Jets
    Tampa Bay
    Kansas City
    Chicago

    Of the 12 remaining teams, 4 have won twice:

    Thank you for not listing the host city for SB48 as New York... this is very much NJ's super bowl and we're proud of it!

    Cool to look at but not entirely accurate. At least with Host cities. SB XIX was played at Stanford Stadium in SF bay area.
