SX Jazz, old headstock, 3/4 size, shortscale, sunburst body with rosewood board. This bass is in excellent condition with minor scuffs and one real ding on the back bottom edge of the body which I took a separate picture of. Great travel bass or even main bass for a smaller person or one that digs smaller instruments. Everything works perfectly with no issues. More pics are here: http://s134.photobucket.com/user/andyspublicpix/slideshow/SX Jazz short scale 3TS?sort=3

PRICE DROP - $100 shipped to CON US.

What state are you located in?
Do you think it has good "fretless potential"?

Sorry for the late reply. I forgot I posted this one! I have no experience with short scale fretless basses so I can't say for sure, but if you yank out the frets I don't see why not.

I'm just below you in Maryland.

As he stated in his listing it is short scale. 30" is what sx uses.

As an older SX, do the neck/nut/bridge specs still match up to the current models? 1.5" nut? 19mm spacing at bridge? How does the neck compare to a Fender Jazz neck? I really like playing short scale, but i prefer neck thickness and spacing to be like their adult cousins! Not looking for a "kids bass" :) I actually prefer thick necks front to back (like a P bass), and I know SX makes a short scale P copy. But really, could that current SX headstock be any more ugly?

Also forgot to ask - it's a solid alder body like the current ones? How well does it the balance on a strap?

Yes, 1.5 nut and 19mm at bridge. Front to back it is actually fairly thick...more like a P bass than J. I don't know if that is typical of SX basses or not.

I have no idea what kind of body wood it is. It definitely has some neck dive. It doesn't balance as well as my full size Jazz basses.
