1. Welcome to TalkBass 2014! If you're new here, we just went through a major site upgrade. Please post all concerns and bugs to the Forum Usage Issues forum. We will be monitoring that forum. Thank you for all of your feedback.

The TB Android app is working, you may need to uninstall/reinstall. The iPhone app is now updated and should work after you upgrade. TalkBass is responsive to any screen size, so we recommend using your mobile browser for full functionality.

Please read the TalkBass 2014 FAQ for lots of great info on the new software.

Anybody else having any problems with their "Back" arrow while reading threads in TB? For about 4 days now, my back arrow isn't taking me from one page of a thread backwards. And if I'm on the first page, it often won't take me back to the main thread list in each particular forum (ie., "Basses"; "Amps"; "Off Topic"; etc. Sometimes I have to hit the "Back" button 3 or 4 times in succession to escape the page I'm on at the time. I've never had this problem before in all my years on TB. Is it just me, or is it happening to anybody else? (I'm using an iMac desktop.)

YES!! I thought it was just me. Exactly how you described it; a lot while using my Iphone and I think a few times on my laptop, a Toshiba...

I've had this issue here (and on other forums as well) occasionally for some years. As best I can figure, sometimes the script for the Ads just loads in each ad as a separate page. So when you hit the Back arrow, it just makes a feeble effort at jumping back one ad--and sometimes it then reloads the page you're on, so in other words you're stuck.

It does not happen all the time, just enough to be annoying.

And it's not a Forum software problem , it's in the ads themselves {and the scripts inside) that call for other ads to be loaded.

This (TalkBass) is the the only site where this happens to me. And like I said, it never happened before until recently. It's quite frustrating...

Sounds like a problem with safari rendering the vbulletin. It could be a whole slew of issues ranging from how Google Ads configures their ad scripts, to how the vBulletin board displays them, to the forum software needing an update, to your browser needing and update, who knows. I'd use a different browser and see if it works; Safari's a pretty crap browser in my experience.

I started having different issues with graphics and navigation a week or so ago. I'm trapped at using IE8 at work. Figured the engine behind TB got updated and something IE8 just can't handle anymore.

None of the pulldown menus work anymore. Smilies don't work.

Wish they'd let us use some other (updated) browser or at least update IE...

And just like that, when I logged in tonight, it's working fine again. About 5 or 6 miserable days, but it seems to be back to normal for me now. I hope it's the same for the rest of you...

Yep, just noticed today. Safari on Macbook pro.

I just go to to the bottom right and click to go to the subforum I was on.
