Hey guys, the idea of this thread is a little different spin on some of the main threads, like the "Coming & Going" thread. This is not just what is in the mail and you'll get in two days, but the things which have a longer wait for whatever reason. I can think of two big things I'm anticipating/waiting for in 2014, and a few others that a lot of people are waiting for.

    Most current updates in red.

    (1) Beat Buddy (estimated [DEL]April[/DEL] [DEL]July[/DEL] [DEL]August[/DEL] September delivery)
    (2) Eventide major firmware & software updates ([DEL]also estimated in April[/DEL]) - HERE
    (3) Digitech Bass Whammy ([DEL]was estimated March, now...???[/DEL] - [DEL]shipping this week?[/DEL]) - HERE
    (4) Iron Ether reopening of store (TBD)
(above were my original suggestions, below here I'm adding things that people bring up in the thread)
    (5) MXR Preamp (April or later)
    (6) Z Vex Fuzzolo
    (7) Joyo Mini Pedals (???)
    (8) JHS Colour Box
    (9) Hexe Sound Cartridge
    (10) Dimehead PLL Sequencer
    (11) INFANEM Compact Faye Sing 2014 Edition
    (12) Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop v2
    (13) Fairfield Circuitry Delay
    (14) SS/BS Cloudsleep Delay
    (15) SS/BS TAFM Mini
    (16) SS/BS TAFM Deluxe
    (17) Mooer Ensemble Queen Chorus
    (18) Hotone Octa

    (non-effects category)
    (1) EMG Geezer P/J Pickups - I think gregmon79 got these
    (2) Verellen Meatsmoke Amplifier

    (not actually announced/wish list)
    (1) iOS-compatible bluetooth MIDI floor controller
    (2) Zoom B3 firmware update
    (3) Zoom MS-60B firmware update

I'm curious if there are any others. This is a place to discuss/commiserate about/etc. any and all extended (month+) waits.

Seconded about IE. I have so many plans involving a Polytope, Nimbus, and SubT.

I'm having a pedal built for me right now. The wait is actually not all that long anymore, but I started talking to the guy about it in January. Between waiting for cash, waiting for the etch, and now waiting for the build, it feels like forever.

After that gets here and my wallet recovers from my next two purchases (EQD Hummingbird and Malekko Diabolik) I'm going to get Brian from ss/bs to make me a Mini TAFM. He mentioned it on ILF recently as a future idea, and I want one. Don't need the gate. Not sure how its going to work besides that. May get him to make some of the controls internal trimpots. That'll probably be a reality in mid June or so, hah.

I'm hoping to get an EQD Pitch Bay and a Zoom MS-70CDR before the end of the year. I would have been able to get them sooner, but I'm making a detour in fretless country.

Definitely waiting/anticipating the return of Iron Ether. I paid for a SubT, in full, on October 20th. The clips sound like it's exactly what I'm looking for and I am really psyched about adding it to my board. Unfortunately the estimate has been "soon". So I continue to wait as patiently as I can.

So, I'm going to add to the original post anything which has a long wait for everyone (and isn't just personal GAS). So I've added the MXR Preamp. Greg, is there a delay on those EMGs, or is it just what you're planning to get in 2014?

Not sure if it's a delay, but I am waiting. They said expected to me released the start of march. I guess I consider 10 days into the month a little stalled. But maybe not. The whammy is most def delayed.

I am in an 8 week wait for my Verellen Meatsmoke amp. I'm not good at waiting.

Is there a specific one you have in mind, or is this just a wish?

8 weeks seems pretty good for a hand built amplifier. Congrats by the way. Those rock.

No idea on release schedule for either.

Done with pedals for the most part (at least from what is available/announced at the moment).

8 weeks is a good time!
I ordered mine in december, took about 6 weeks or so, shipping took less then a week to Norway.
And yes, the amp is SICK

I am lamenting my lack of patience. I don't like waiting for microwave popcorn. 8 weeks is perfectly acceptable given what I have asked Ben to do. My amp is not the typical build.
