Any interest in a club for bassists who don't have a theistic worldview? If so, post your support, and maybe even photos of your basses. If it looks like a viable thing, maybe numbers will be doled out at some point.

I'll get the ball rolling with a pic of my Gaskell Thunderbass:

Maybe have a humanist club as there's already an atheist one?

My babies! Made from wood which wasn't created by god.

    Science can prove everything.

Until there is scientific proof of something then it's false.

I want in. I'm not gonna post a bass pic right now cuz my herd is in transition. But I don't believe any deities exist.

    Godlyke, definitely a Godlyke.

Also, count me in, but I need to get a new pic of my bass since I modded it.

I hear ya and thanks man, but I must have not searched with the right parameters to show the one that is in the Lobby. If it gets merged by another mod or admin, that's cool.

If it does stay, I just don't want threads like this to get out of control and flame-tastic, if y'all can dig.

It would be cool to see fellow bassists post shots of their basses and them playing them. Be it in bars, venues, joints, hollers, state fairs, theaters, caf├ęs, coffeehouses, pit orchestras, house party basements, school talent shows, stadiums, playhouses... Etc. Maybe post pictures or stories about other famous bassists that aren't subscribers. Let's just keep bashing of other clubs or beliefs out of this thread. Ok?

    Disclosures:
I used 10" and 15" speakers in the same rig for over 10 years.
Roger Waters, Kim Deal, and Eric Avery to mind. Not a bassist, but Brian Eno is also a well known atheist. I always found this interesting as Contemporary Christian bands endlessly copy the sounds and recording techniques on U2 albums that he produced.
