I know guy with a nose like that. We own identical motorcycles and I could never figure out why I could never quite catch him. Now I know.
  4. Hi.

I found the Alex Thomson's Mast- and Keel Walk to be much more entertaining.

Having seen quite a few bulbous bows of CCL cruise ships daily back in the day kind of takes the magic out of them ;).

I had a buddy that would hold on to the shrouds and scamper up the mast to the first crosstree on our sailboat when heeled over. He was very trusting.

It's also an effective battering ram.

  9. I wonder if that's where the captain stands when the electricity fails and the toilets stop working.

good thing the crew cleaned all the growth off so the Capt'n could have a place to have his image taken

speaking of bulbous bows, here's an image from public domain of a new class of navy ship
