If its rosewood they want maple. If its maple they want ebony. If its a four string "I'd buy it in a heart beat if were a 5er". If you looking for a trade everyone wants to buy it if it was for sale. If you offer them a price they suddenly dont need it anymore. If you only had listed this last week....
If its 10.lbs they're looking for the exact same thing but only if it weighs no more the 9.75 (back problems don't ya know) nut width is just 3/64ths to big for my tiny hands. This stuff gets so darn old......come on people I mean really!!

Remind me never to give you a friendly free bump. Basses get buried in a couple of hours.

One of my favorites is "If this is still here in two weeks/when my gear sells, I'll buy it!" Of course they never do.:D

I can't believe this thread is still here. If it's still here on payday, I'll post in it again.

Never had a problem selling in TB classifieds. Can't agree with the OP.

I automatically ignore any sale post including that phrase.

Also, the sellers who use the tease-threat, "If it doesn't sell by the end of this week, then it's off to eBay." Then it's still listed here a month later. Honestly, many of the TB Classifieds prices are very good. However, many of us simply don't have money to buy them.

I owned a 9.75lb bass once, it was literally a living nightmare.

9.68422lbs or less for me, thanks!
