    Yeah, this model is almost 2 years old. Ugly as hell, but I played one the other day- light as a feather (well, a heavy feather) and very serious sounding.

    Too bad they are so ridiculously expensive. BTW, is anyone here playing one in public-they DO sound great, but that look...

    FENDER: Make a decently priced single pickup TeleBass, with a nice nitro finish somewhere between $2000 and $3000, please.

    Yeah, it's a wonderful instrument, just friggin' hideous.

    Actually, the blonde is MUCH more attractive-I played a black one.

    Unless it really has to be made in a Fender plant, you could always order one custom from John Kallas (johnk_10). Less money for the same quality as a Fender Masterbuilt.

    How about an affordable fur-covered Dusty Hill model? Now, that would sell like hot cakes.
