Bump. Thoughts? Do we suck? Do we rock? How could we make it better (and no fair saying "tell the singer to stop looking down at his lyric sheet", we've already shamed him into memorizing most of the material ;-) )

I really enjoyed this-particularly the bass line, keys, and especially the groove between you and the drummer. My band plays this on occasion and I was inspired by your musical movement.

    Nice!!

Nice sound, and great song choice. Good funk!

However, I didn't feel that there was enough "punch" in the song as I have heard with other versions.

It's good however I would have preferred to have heard your bass playing with a more rounded tone. Would sit better in the mix and the track. :)

Agreed. Sound was a bit too 'clicky' for my taste for that particular tune. More booty and more low notes. Overall, good job though.

Thank you all for your comments! I definitely hear you all on the mix, what's on there right now is a VERY rough mix-down straight from the board. We'll be cleaning that up shortly, my live tone is definitely much more booty-licious in person ;-)
