The Greatest Rhythm section Ever!

    Watching the big game & just saw an ad for a movie that includes the greatest band in the history of music, that has the greatest rhythm section in the history of music! That band is Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, with "Animal" on drums & "Sgt. Floyd Pepper" on bass!!:bassist::D I'm sure ya'll agree!:)

    The house band for the Muppets. Great childhood memories for myself & my children. And now my 2 new grandkids. :D

    A bit off topic but same era, who was the rythym section for The Grease movie ie. Youre The One That I Want etc, pretty tight too .

    I always list Sgt. Floyd Pepper as one of my main influences...right after Geddy and Steve H...

    and we can't forget Janice, the hottie guitar player

    one of the drummers was Cubby O'Brien whom I remember playing drums on the Mickey Mouse Club in the sixties.

    I dunno if it was intentional, but wasn't Floyd Animal's caretaker? If I recall correctly, it was Floyd who was always at the end of Animal's collar-chain. Even in the not-so-real world, the drummer and the bass player still gravitate to one another - collar and chain not withstanding.
