    Hi all;
    I am aware that compression is intrinsic to overdriving a signal-or at least that's what i was told.
    However some pedals seem to compress more than others.
    Which, from your experience compresses the least whilst providing light overdrive to loads...sounding organic and covering a wide frequency spectrum?

    Thanks!

    EHX Graphic Fuzz.

    However, it has some low end loss that cannot be compensated with the EQ. Its general tone an character is also somewhat bland and uninspiring. I like it on keyboards, but not on bass.

    In spite of its name it really isn't a fuzz but more of a OD/dist.

    On low settings the RedDragon hardly compresses at all, not so I notice anyway. On the high end, which isn't all that high on the scale of fizz, it compresses some, just the right amount if you ask me.

    What a recommendation! :p
    An excellent pedal, and there is one FS in the classifieds.

    Haha, yeah I know. It IS the most uncompressed dirt out there when you set the dynamics and sustain sliders just right, though.

    ...and tone is subjective :bag:
