    I still haven't managed to make spark plugs from sea shells - sorry Professor - RIP.

    In later years, he would comment how curious it was that the Professor could make a radio from a coconut, but couldn't fix a hole in a boat?

    Loved the show. The Professor was the only character that could have gotten them off the island using a coconut shell radio transmitter! RIP Russell Johnson
