Is it some sort of building code that 50% of urinals have to be a foot off the ground? What about those of us who stand several feet higher than an infant and prefer to keep splashback to a minimum?

Funny, I've never noticed any issues with the height of tampon dispensers.

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe there is an intermediate step there...

Thank you so much for changing the ads I'm seeing to inappropriate advertisements for "supplements" with that little statement.

Agreed, but at 6'5", there are scores of similar issues I could bitch about.

Answer, sadly, is probably yes. Brought to you by the same folks that require instructions in Braille at all drive-up ATM machines.:rollno:

I am roughly the same height, and I understand that stuff will be engineered to fit a standard human and that outliers will suffer. I get that. I just don't see which portion of the population needs a urinal that low. Do small children use urinals regularly?

I believe the low urinals are for wheelchair bound men.

At the risk of appearing insensitive and ignorant (although, why stop now?) can they even do that? My rudimentary comprehension of physics makes it seem incredibly difficult.

We should just switch to the hole-in-the-ground method like in Asia. It's a one-size-fits-all method that could even make gender specific toilet rooms unnecessary just as much as making all male toilets equal.

  16. I thought that's what the ADA stalls were designed to do.

I am an unofficial ambassador and advocate of the genderless bathroom. The redundancies should be sought out and destroyed.

They need to bring back the old style that start from the floor and stood about 4 ft. high

  19. Those designers had a penchant to share their fetishes with the world. How thoughtful of them. :smug:

I always use those rubber knee-pads....so I can kneel down.

With those on I can use the 4ft. high ones as a washbasin as well if there's one in the room.
