Pretty self explanatory. I think Everybody has had this problem at least once. You decide on a new bass you're getting, but you just can't make up your mind on what finish you want. That's when you come here! Feel free to ask about a bass you want help on. Anyways, here goes. This is a Yamaha BB-424x. Which finish: white, sunburst, red, or black?

I would say red or white.

I've always liked a strong, dark red with a black PG, so there's my vote.

White is my pick. White basses with black pg's look great and are very classy.

    Red for runner up.

My sentiments exactly. And probably in that order.

Only problem with swapping a pickguard is that there really aren't any for these Yamaha basses, and I'm definitely too lazy to make my own :\

The black PG locks good on the white, and several PG makers will make a template if you send the original PG in.

    Either burst or white.

But I have an inexplicable hatred for red basses, so take that into account.

I guess it partially depends on how soon you want it. Only the white is currently in stock. The tobacco burst and black will be available on Feb. 5th but the red not until March 31.
Personally I like the tobacco burst best followed by black.

It would be very sweet in natural! Too bad that's not an option.
