Hey fellas. I just need some tech savvy advice. I was thinking about doing YouTube covers and other types of videos but I do want to make it sound good, not just me playing to video cameras microphone, but the bass DI over the song. I understand that I need to record me playing bass, but what about the backing track? Do you guys just play over it? Is there a way to remove or lower the bass track in a song? Also what if I wanted to do an interpretation type of video over let's just say...Taylor swift...how would I go about that without conflicting with the bass lines in the songs?

    Thanks guys
