I know a lot of this is dependent on the person playing the Bass but Im wondering if you would mind explaining how you run your Basses. This is the 1st Bass Ive had with a coil tap and 3 band active EQ. I know all the Fodera's come with this similar setup. I actually dont know if this is tech a 'Coil Tap' or not. It doesnt kill the pup. It just takes the one double buck to a single so you can run two singles or a single and a double with a blend knob. And do you have a certain method you set for certain styles? For example do you tend to go single coil active or passive for a certain sound vs double coil active or passive for another? Im playing with the tone of this Bass and just curious if you had a basic setting you went to for any certain tone.

Im sure you're aware but heres a pic to show ya what I mean. The toggle takes the double pup to a single. Then you can run 2 singles. Or you can run the double buck with the single J99 ImageUploadedByTalkBass1390364977.745434.jpg
