Shoot first. Take Jewely. Sell jewelry.

    Do I win?

Presumably it didn't end well if the ring is getting flogged?

The guy probably shot his ex after she said no and then tossed his handgun in the river. This is the best way to get a new one.

My guess is more it's probably stolen. He needs a gun to keeps carrying those burglaries because a knife just won't cut it (no pun intended...) anymore in this day and age.

I agree, otherwise he'd just put the ring up for sale somewhere stange...like a place that sells jewelry or ebay.

He probably figures the owner of the ring won't be looking for it on Armslist.

I thought it was funny, will trade new engagement ring for handguns.
