R.I.P. Conrad Bain (a.k.a. Mr. Drummond)
This was my favorite show as a kid. I wonder how sad he was to see all of his television "children" die before him.

Mrs. Garrett and Dudley are still kickin'.
Danny Cooksey is alive and well as of this posting.
Has Todd done anything bad in 20 years except play himself in the worst movie of the year? Okay I'm biased I used to see him playing around the neighborhood and I was in school with his older brother and sister.
Peripheral characters. They don't count.
No. In fact, he's done good. He saved that paraplegic woman who fell into a lake. But based on his involvement with hard drugs, I would've never guessed he'd outlive Dana, Gary, and Conrad.
Mr. Drummond was a laid back dude. RIP
Todd Bridges has done quite a bit of work since he cleaned up his act. Was a regular on Everybody Hates Chris and he does a ton of one offs.
Which now begs a response of the late Gary Coleman's frequent question to Todd Bridges.
In fact, now I wonder what was Willis talking about? Outlived the entire main cast.
well..the world don't move to the beat of the same drum. what might be right for you, may not be right for some. i hold here in my hand, a shiny -1 for the first over-achiever who'll sit here and tell you EVERYTHING there is to know about the bass used in the themesong. it never fails
Conrad Bain was a longtime actor and also a Canadian Army WWII veteran. R.I.P.
Loved that show back in the day.
Yep. He outlived his TV family. And for whatever he may have done in the past (and he wasn't a serial killer), he seems like a genuinely good guy now.
The episode where the child predator was trying to lure Arnold into his home creeped me out & haunted me for a long time.
On a lighter note, I also remember the episode where he pretended to be sick in order to meet a famous athlete.
Wasn't it a bike shop? Tonight, on a very special Diff'rent Strokes. [/announcer voice]
Aint no Bridge been crossed that cant be burned.
It could have been. lol I don't want to watch that episode again. hehe
Yeah, to be fair he only went to court to defend himself of killing one guy while high on cocaine, serial killing is a really extreme accusation.
He was accused of "attempted murder"! And was subsequently acquitted of all charges as a witness said he wasn't even present at the time of the shooting!
