Why would it not be a real Gretsch ? They'd make him about anything he wants...

    Definitely cool though !

Starts with a D, rhymes with jam, and it holds back a bunch of water.

on a side note, is Tom the only one of that has aged well?

Yeah, it sure looks like a Gretsch to me. I just didn't get a good look at the logo on the headstock.

I wonder what kind of neck dive you get with a 12 string hollow body. It's bad enough with a 12 string solid body.

Cool bass and one of my all time favorite bands.

Very freaking cool bass. Back in the day I bought an Ibanez 12-string and it was all Tom Peterson's fault.

I bought a 12 string musicvox for the same reason.

He has been out of the picture for a couple of years. Rick's son plays for them now.

He still records with them, just can't or won't tour

No longer goes on the road due to health issues.
  17. Have you guys seen his ALL aluminum 12 string from EGC?
  18. Yes - it's a Gretsch. No - Bun E doesn't tour with them anymore.
I doubt he will play on any more albums or tour with them ever again as he has sued them and they are counter-suing him. Sad.

Yea an old band mate (drummer) did a drum show and Bun E was there.... even played his drum kit.

He hung out with him for a spell and Bun said he was to old, tired and just sick of the road. He had started his own coffee line also I think. He played in a local blues band for fun and still got together with CT from time to time.

I still love Cheap Trick - that big drone of sound from the 12-string bass and the bite of the Les Paul - and Zander's still a hell of a singer - this clip is from just a few weeks ago I think !!
  21. So cool that Gretsch teamed up with Tom.

They should have made one for Robin too (that's a Schecter White Falcon clone).
