I need a top loading bridge with 2 1/16 in string spacing for a project I'm working on. Mustang bridge looks perfect except that they are through-body.

Anyone modify one for top load? I is there enough meat there to drill?

    Thanks,
    Dennis

Yep, its an easy mod to accomplish with a center punch and a hand drill.

That is exactly what I did on this bass. Just take the saddles off, place it in a vice with a couple wooden cauls to not mar the finish, mark the hole locations, center punched them and drill them.

So... any issues w/ the chrome chipping or the underlying metal rusting?
