Not looking for a tube amp anymore.

gp12smx preamp, foot switch, cover, great shape.
580 peak watts. It gets LOUD and sounds great.
    4x10 cab is 8 ohms.

    $400 cash
I'll entertain trade offers at higher value.

Local only. I'm in NJ (07803), so NY,NJ,CT,PA is pretty much the only places I would travel to meet someone.
Although if you are in New England, I do occasionally head up to Brockton, MA so I could meet up there as well.

Dinosaur-from-HELL awesome combo bump! Any interest in an SWR SM400, Barber Deep Fryer (the dual channel one) and/or Peavey G-IV? Message me.

    These combos suck.

(Maybe that will keep the riff-raff away until i get my return...)

Does this have the 280 watt power section? Tweeter in the center w/red stripes? Man i miss mine...

Sweet!! It's nice that you have a cover. I made my own footswitch (never really used it though) and also bought a black light from Walmart and had a bracket made for it that slid in the gap under the amp - it lit the face and the logo on the cab, looked very nice.

I also made a splitter box to wire some external speakers in series (two 2x15 cabs, one under my rig and one on the other side of our stage) and never had to turn up past '2'. It was LOUD.

I have my eye on a GK 210 combo which I hope I'll have room for next month; it will be a little easier to schlep around than this combo. Besides, I'm not local - prolly a good thing. Somebody will get a gem with this combo however...

Best wishes on the sale, mate.

How bout a trade for an SWR GOLIATH SR. 6x10 w/horn? That'll drown out the guitar.

I had one of those amps for several years in the 90s. It sounded killer, and I never did get casters for it—just humped it around, including up and down a flight of stairs to and from my apartment (of course, I was in my 20s then ;) ). Good luck with the sale!

    Thanks.
i read a quote the other day.
"we don't stop exercising because we grow old.
We grow old because we stop exercising"

think of this amp as helping you with your deadlifts (for all your crossfitters out there). It's heavy, but I can carry it by myself and I'm 40.
