TRADED - This beauty lives in the shadow of my steady betty ASAT so I may be willing to trade her off...

Comes with G&L molded case with Certificate and all case candy.

Quartersawn maple with rosewood board. Side markers only. The neck measures 1.5" at the nut.

This bass has a modified coil selector switch to add a single coil option. So now it is parallel-front coil-series. The front coil gives a slightly fatter sound that leans toward a ric or p bass. That makes it more versatile when you need a sound that is less like a bridge pickup. I will include the original switch as well.

There is hardly a mark on the body-just normal stuff for a used bass. Light swirling and a couple of small dings on the headstock (in pics)

The bass weighs 8lbs, 14oz and is nicely balanced.

Interested in G&L’s, US Fenders, nice ATK800 etc. I mainly play 4’s but feel free to run anything past me. Also interested in guitars – a sonic blue/maple board strat would get my attention for sure.

Thanks guys... I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought this bass was dead sexy.

Nice! Is your switch scheme then the same as an L-1000? What does the other switch do? ...is this bass active?

Thanks Tom, The bass is active. The original owner modified the series/parallel switch as described in my ad. It definitely adds more tone variety to the L-1500.

Passive/Active only, no boost like on the L-2000.

Prefer a JB but a JB-2 might do nicely.
