brand new it sold for about $1200 + tax, I figure trade value is more like $750
they sell for $1200 on Musician's Friend, and $1300 on zZounds.com (List is $1,549)

cash price: $720 shipped w hard case, UPS insured.
I pay shipping fees and paypal fees.
I am only posting a price because according to TB rules,it's mandatory.
but I am more looking for a trade, not a sale.. I'm holding out for a nice Gibson trade.

This guitar sounds expensive,lively,brilliant..all the things a Martin should be,
the mahogany tone is slightly different, and I love it.
Some videos of the tone and close ups of wood, frets, any flaws etc

    it is very clean,
and I'm interested in a trade for a good humbucker equipped Gibson SG, older Les Paul Studios,LP Classic..

it is a solid mahogany top, mahogany sides, no fake wood stuff that Martin is using on the cheaper models,
The wood grain and satin finished texture is beautiful and luxurious, the photos don't really show them off,
although the 1st attached photo, by the strap button kind of shows the grain nicely..

clear, elegant tone..beautiful for strumming,country,rhythms..the low end resonates against your body when u strum it,great, great tone for the price. I've also owned an HD-28, and a D-1, and I'd have to say all 3 Martins were exceptional, and pretty similar.

she's pretty much mint except there are 2-3 little marked on the top,
like if someone pressed the edge of their fingernail on the finish,
not a bad scratch, but it doesn't qualify as mint anymore, I'd say..very,very clean. 9/10 condition.
except for a couple of tiny dots and one dash in front, and a tiny nick the size of pinhead, it's super clean.

I could not photograph the flaws,I tried to show them
but they are really tiny and barely visible..not full-on scratches or dings, more like tiny indentations.
I'm mostly mentioning them because without these little flaws, it would be pretty much mint.
there is a little pick swirling on the pick guard, too.

really nice quality hard shell Martin case, with green velvet lining, & all the stuff it came with is in there..

Perhaps if we trade, we can exchange videos of our guitars, showing all sides, and some sounds,
If u are near NYC even better, we can try the guitars out in person.

    Looking for electric guitars only..
    Gibson stuff like Studios,fadeds, SG's, V's, Explorers..
and some Teles may be okay.

I also have a killer short scale bass w Sadowsky pu's & preamp.
I could add it to the trade if your guitar is more expensive than my Martin.
I have no cash to invest in a trade,
    but I have other gear..
Midi controller, powered studio monitors, custom bass compressor..

I will also toss in a
C.F. Martin two way truss rod wrench,
it cost about about $13-$14 w shipping,

    available on the Martin site,
they don't include these w the guitars when u buy them,
way better than a regular 5mm Allen wrench,
and well worth the extra few dollars

I was able to show the 2 main flaws on the top, they're teeny tiny, both of them..although they look big through the zoom lens
the white smudge u see briefly near the strap button isn't a flaw,
it was more like a drop of water or sweat that evaporated
..just needs to be wiped off.

I made this in a super hurry while babysitting my son, I had no time to really tune up, or polish it up..
Apologize for the rush job and for not cutting the string ends,
I JUST changed the strings again to Ernie Ball Mediums,
which sound a little brighter to me.i wanted whoever gets this to have new, unused strings.

I am willing to trade for Gibson type guitars from other brands..

I do prefer a few specifics..

    set neck,
    mahogany,
    humbuckers,
    slim neck..no bats
    I prefer a gloss finish

....and nothing built by Cort or Rondo
