I apologize if this has been discussed before, but what is the consensus for bolt-on neck truss rod placement; headstock or heal?

Personally, I find that I can dial in lower action with a truss-rod in the heal. As the first few frets of a neck don’t need a rod due to the nut height. So it makes sense that having a truss rod in the heal would cover more of the neck that actually needs it.

    Opinions?
