I've been trying to remember this band name for some time. I was working at Wherehouse Records from 1988-1994.

I remember the band was an alternative rock band that had a sound somewhat like YES and the bass player had an obvious influence of Chris Squire.

I believe they only had one album out. The band consisted of only 2 guys I think. And either the band name or the album name had something to do with "plastic" "airplane" and/or "soldier" "toy".

I know it's a long shot, but does any of this sound familiar? :help:

Was it Toy Matinee? That was a 2-person prog rock band from the early 90's that only put out one album.

That's pretty impressive Jim Nazium, my description was pretty obscure. I just remembered toy and plane ( from the last plane out song)….Very Impressive Sir!
