Tubeworks RT-3300 replacement?

    The old Tubeworks RT-3300 head is still my benchmark for my gigging sound, but I'd rather not carry around the weight. It just has this presence/attitude that I haven't found in other heads yet.

    I've also got an Ibanez Promethean P500H, and although it's rated a couple hundred watts more and has lots of tone sculpting capabilities, it lacks the sonic signature I like.

    I'm hoping someone who is familiar with my Tubeworks can recommend a lightweight yet powerful alternative.

    Have you tried a Demeter HBP1-800D?

    Uh, nope, didn't even know it existed!
    Some severe sticker shock upon review! I guess I should quantify <$800.
