    SOLD

    2013 US Lakland 44-60 Ebony

Making room for some new gear, so I'm putting a couple of the latest up on the block.

I ordered this bass late last year and received it in May. This was a complete custom order, you will not find another Lakland like this.

This was meant to be a snappy tone beast, and it delivers. This is more modern sounding due to the custom made Lakland blade style pickups. The neck pickup is the same one that is used in the neck position of the 94/02 models, a bridge version was custom made just for this bass. To add tonal variation a standard J-Retro is installed. Slap to thump, you're covered.

The fingerboard is a beautiful black field of marker-less ebony with side dots topped off by a black Graph Tech nut and matching headstock with all black hardware. Even the logo was a custom specification as Lakland usually outlines the logo in white on darker colors.

    Specs
Swamp Ash Body - Satin Black with Matching Headstock
    Ebony Fingerboard with no Markers
    10" Fingerboard Radius
    Jazz Width Neck
    Graph Tech Nut
    All Black Hardware
    J-Retro Pre
    Copper Shielded Control Cavity
    Custom Blade Pickups
    Pickups NeoPunch
    9.184 lb
    Case: Lakland Tweed Case

Thanks guys, the bass really is stunning. And for the black string commenters, it originally came with DR Black Beauties, actually from the stash that Lakland keeps around for Geezers basses, but I decided to put a set of 100, 80, 65, 45 EB Cobalts on instead, which are still on there.
