Putting this back on the block. I don't WANT to sell, but adding up the gear I've bought in the last week, something has to move.

Late 80's Kramer Spector NS-2, oil finish, Haz Labs pre, all original sans the gold knobs someone put on. Has a couple dings here and there, but plays perfectly. I'd rate this one VGC, expecially considering the age. The most noticeable is the finish wear at the thumb rest area on the p pickup. Some steel wool and oil, it it should look fine. Comes with Spector hard case.

Any questions? May consider a Euro plus cash as well. You know you're getting old when you sell boutique basses in favor of lawn equipment :rollno:

    $1400....this is a deal

The Kramer era Spector's are KICKASS! I use to play one, just like the white one pictured.
Excellent bass! Guarantee this bass has the "growl"!

No, that's long gone. The white one....refinned, beat/worn from use, and currently needs a new pot in the hazlab and possibly a pickup....still not for sale. It was one of the "less than 24" 2a's that had the inlays, but interestingly it was also routed for the larger US bridge under the original finish leading me to believe it was originally designated to be a US NS2. I had it route fill removed, and had all the US appointments put on it. I have way too much money (and gigs under the belt) on that one to sell. It's worth more to me to keep than the "market value" would bring. Truth be told, the natural one here sounds a lot better of the two.

I've also have one of the 24 NS2A with the inlays. I put one of those Mighty Mite hazlab copies in mine with the EMG pickups and it sound great. BUMP
