Well...I just got this, but then I went out and bought another bass today ... D'oh !

Anyway, this one sounds great, has the usual players wear, etc. The stock pickups are awesome sounding - can't remember if Schaller or DiMarzio made these, but dang they sound good !

    Cool bass, cool price....

Oh.... there's some "sticker residue" on the bass currently. It should be easy to clean off, and the bass will look great ...I just haven't gotten around to cleaning it off...

OK, I've been intrigued by Aria basses but they cost more for a flyer than I'm willing to spend, so this one is quite interesting and appealing.

How old is it (when made)?
What is nut width? Width at 12th fret (is neck straight like Aria or tapered)?
Is this a neck through? If so, any stringers?
Are knobs for vol and tone?
What would you compare tone to (P bass, jazz, etc.)?
    How heavy is it?
Do you know what the woods are by any chance?
What are nut and bridge made of?

I know, a lot of questions for a $165 bass. Thanks much in advance. DM

Thanks for all the answers. Let me think about it a bit. I was kinda hoping for a neck-thru and guess I forgot about the back shots.

A few more questions, though, if I may test your patience: fretboard is rosewood? currently strung with flats? how old are strings? Any interest in used Seymour Duncan P pups (SPB-3, i believe; installed buy a TBer I got a MIM Pbass from) as part of a deal?

    Thanks again, DM
