I have an Epiphone Elitest EB3 that I want to try and rewire bypassing the Varitone to make it simply VVTT. I thought I may ask for help before I start disconnecting anything...

I'm just curious to see if I could get a better sound from it...I don't find the varitone that useful for what I'm doing and would prefer to be able to blend the pickups...

Would this be a relatively simple mod? I can post a photo of the wiring if anyone knows how to do it.... I believe it is identical to a 63 EB3 wiring setup. Thanks...

Another option.... all I really want is to be able to do is blend the pickups like on my SG... is there a way to wire the varitone so it will allow that? Setting 3 seems like it should be for that, but it doesn't really do it. Anyone know if blending can be accomplished with a mod to the varitone?
