    Hey there Janek!

I remember once seeing your course filmed and offered on video, as advertised by Alex Sampson. If I remember correctly it was sort of a webinar, but now offered for those who had not attended.

Could you give me/us a few words on the contents of those vids?

    Hi,

The site is http://members.videobasslessons.tv and the content is almost too extensive to list bit by bit...!

Over the past 3 years I've built up the site to include over 300 HD video lessons on pretty much any topic you can think of. From the VERY basic beginner level talking about how to plug in the amp, what basic gear you need, and how to hold the instrument, right up to advanced improvisation techniques, transcribing, ear training, harmony, composition, and everything in between.

The site is now structured into 12 week courses for the most part, and the topics for these courses are generated by not only the members of the site, but also the general public and non members. This keeps the most popular topics always front and center, and tends to help out the most amount of people possible.

My YouTube channel is filled with free preview videos from recent courses: https://www.youtube.com/user/janekgwizdala so feel free to check some of the material out for free before perhaps becoming a member of the site.

    Janek

So, you are saying "forget his DVDs (or whatever the format) as my personal site supersedes that stuff"?

    Fair enough ;-)

I didn't say that at all. I don't know what his DVD's contain other than the one I made for him which I believe was around 5-6 years ago. So for me, that information is probably outdated. I can only speak to the projects I am currently directly involved in which is my own educational site. Alex is a great cat, I had a lot of fun working with him when we made the DVD, but that was a long time ago, and I can't speak to the quality of any of his other content because I simply haven't checked it out. I'm sure it's very high level and useful information knowing Alex's work ethic.

Thank you, this is the specific answer to my actual question, i.e. about the contents of that video you did for him.

    Much obliged.
