Made in Japan E series bass. 1984-1987
    Fender Jazz Bass Special !!
Active EMG's - crystal clear booming lows and sizzling highs !
Go from classic Fender P bass to Jazz bass or a combination of both. That makes this the ultimate "classic" bass guitar !!
Triple black - body, hardware, headstock
New set up, low action. Neck, frets, truss rod, electronics, etc all perfect.
Sounds SO good ! Classic Fender only BETTER !
Shows cosmetic wear, but just like a black car, everything shows up seemingly magnified. Swirls in the "busy zone" of playing area.

I can't tell if you're being serious or if I missed the joke. Yes, I will try to attempt a youtube sampler for you and others. There are examples of this bass on youtube, BUT this one is active and EMG's, so it has a *better* sound, to me.

    Sexy bass bump...

Out of curiosity, are the active EMG's original to the bass, or an "upgrade"... I have one of these in silver/metallic grey... Great basses!

    Thanks Bladerunner :p
The EMG's are an upgrade. No, I don't have the original pups.

I use the word *upgrade* correctly, in my opinion, as opposed to a *mod*.

Beautiful bass. I have 2 myself. 1 with EMGs 1 with the original pickups. They both sound great. The original pickups have a very unique mid range to them.

I would do unthinkable things to that bass. Rip out the guts and throw some hot passives in it. Take some sandpaper to the gloss on that neck. And then beat it like I own it! (If only it had one more string.....) GLWTS.
