Hi all, i am currently looking at purchasing a vintage streamer which was apparently manufactured in 1984. The bass looks amazing - all original/no mods. I have asked the buyer about its serial number and they have told me that it doesnt have one and that some of the early Streamers did not have them. I have investigated this on the Warwick.de website and it states that 'Every instrument that leaves our production facility is furnished with a distinct serial number.' source : http://warwick.de/en/Warwick---Support--Serial-Number.html#current_site_id
This seller does come across as a trustworthy/honest person, however according to the Warwick website, all of their basses should have a distinct serial number.
Can anybody help with this issue. Does anybody know about serial numbers on very early Warwick basses?
    Thanks for your help
    Bronze Templeton
