    Hi guys,

Thinking of getting a Vintage V4 Pbass as a back up to my Stingray; seems to get really good feedback and is a very good price.

The one concern I have is the neck dimensions; I have quite small hands and couldn't manage anything chunkier than my SR neck. Is the Vintage much different?

    Cheers

    Kev

The V4 neck is chunkier than a SR neck for sure. I have a V4 neck kicking around somewhere and I think it was as chunky as a MIM P bass, if not even slightly thicker.

v4 neck is the same as musicman near enough.
I,ve got both and if anything v4 is slightly smaller that makes no difference.
decent back up bass and I gig mine.

I've got a V4, it is a very chunky neck. Much more so than my Stingray, but I would recommend it.

An excellent P bass for the money!
