voodoo labs pedal switcher

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by mattbass6945, Mar 17, 2014.

  1. does anyone have any experience with this specific unit? i'm looking for a switcher with at least 4 in/outputs, nothing fancy, no need for midi or anything elaborate. just want to be able to turn on more than one pedal at a time and get rid of some tone suck. anything else to consider before i dive into switching units?

    here's the switcher i'm considering:

Back in 2007, caesarbass (Steve, from the Bass Hang) posted about completing his pedal board. Here’s the thread: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f36/pedalboard-complete-368305/

Interestingly enough, I just stumbled across that post last night for the first time.

He indicated he was using a 4 Looper with tuner out from http://loop-master.com/

I noticed the Voodoo Lab Pedal Switcher features 4 True Bypass audio loops.

In The Loop Master 4 Looper with Tuner Out and Master Bypass info they say, “No buffers and no tone-sucking BS.”  http://www.loop-master.com/looper-w...-p-118.html?osCsid=fkbemscc9kk7b9nrffovmbt062)

You might want to PM caesarbass and ask him for his experience.

I don’t have any experience with loopers at all, just thought it might be helpful to ya.

  3. awesome, i will send him a pm in a few! i'm was looking to find one used, but these seem hard to come by. i guess not everyone is into effects, and those who are don't always employ these, but i think it would be helpful in my situation, i just have 0 experience with them thus far.

i do have a boss ls2 and a morley aby, so i do have some idea of the basic principles, just need something more suited to my application. thanks for the reply, testing123!
