    Great tune, great band. I think his record SONG FOR MY MOTHER has the rhythm section of Peter Washington and Billy Drummond, two favorites. His brother Joel is a wonderful pianist as well...

    Yes!
    That recording is one of my favorites, both for the playing as well as the "writing". Not a "Big Band",(yuck), but a "big enough" band - a Nonet.

    Agreed Ed... Joel is a great pianist... Completely underrated and should be playing much more
